Gustav Klimt (1862-1918) was one of the greatest Austrian painters of the Art Nouveau era. His works consisted mainly of paintings, murals and sketches. Klimt was characterised by his many erotic drawings and his main subject matter was female figures.

We have selected Gustav Klimt’s famous painting ‘Portrait of a Lady’ (1916-1917). Although the motif with the beautiful lady is more than 100 years old, it has a contemporary look and appears in the most beautiful shades of green.
